About the hotel
Family-run, quiet, newly renovated
Hotel Lovac stands on the cliff above the Pazin Abyss, in a natural setting rarely found even in Istria. From the rooms and terrace the view opens onto the medieval Pazin Castle, the town and Mount Učka in the distance.
We run it as a family — 26 comfortably appointed rooms and a restaurant where Istrian cuisine is prepared the way it is remembered, from local ingredients and recipes handed down through generations.
We have recently renovated it completely, keeping the calm and warmth our guests remember us for. The terrace above the abyss is an oasis of quiet at any time of day.
We are open all year round — for holidays, celebrations and quiet working days alike, in summer evenings and the winter stillness of central Istria.
